The Darkening | Artificial Noodles

Created from Photochromic lens Photochromic lenses darken on exposure to UV radiation through silver halide crystal reactions embedded in the glass matrix. The darkening is reversible but asymmetric — fast to darken, slow to clear — and affected by temperature, with heat inhibiting the reaction.
